Habitat for Humanity Waukesha: Expands Home Repair Program

Waukesha County, Wis. – Habitat for Humanity Waukesha – Jefferson – Rock is looking to expand its Home Repair Program. This program is designed to serve income-eligible residents, seniors, and veterans in Waukesha County. The program aims to ensure safe, decent, and affordable housing for families throughout the County.

The Home Repair Program offers affordable zero percent interest loans for critical home repairs. Eligible repairs include roofing, siding, windows, gutters and soffit/fascia repairs – all critical components to maintaining a safe and stable home.

To qualify for the program, homeowners must meet the following criteria:

● Own and live in their home for a minimum of one year

● Have a home with an assessed value at or below $332,000

● Reside in a qualifying municipality within Waukesha County

● Have a household income at or below 80% of Waukesha County Median Income Level Qualifying municipalities include:

● Cities: Brookfield, Delafield, Muskego, New Berlin, Oconomowoc, Pewaukee, and Waukesha.

● Villages: Big Bend, Butler, Dousman, Eagle, Elm Grove, Hartland, Lannon, Lisbon, Menomonee Falls, Merton, Mukwonago, Nashotah, North Prairie, Pewaukee, Sussex, Vernon, Wales, and Waukesha.

● Towns: Brookfield, Delafield, Merton, Oconomowoc, Genesee, and Mukwonago.
