Great Lakes Timber Professionals Association: Ponsse celebrates 10 years of cooperation with Road Runner Repair with open house event

Ponsse, the forest machine manufacturer, is proud to mark 10 years of successful cooperation with Road Runner Repair, a trusted forestry and construction equipment service provider founded by Aaron Vizer.

Road Runner Repair began in 2011 when Aaron, after 13 years as a Field Service Technician, made the bold decision to start his own business. What began with a single service truck quickly grew into a full operation. Recognizing the need for a dedicated workspace, Aaron built a two‑bay shop at his home in Boyd, Wisconsin. His commitment to customer service, deep technical knowledge, and strong business instincts helped Road Runner Repair earn the trust of loggers and construction professionals across the region.

In 2016, Road Runner Repair officially began its cooperation with Ponsse as a service dealer—an important milestone that strengthened support for Ponsse customers throughout Wisconsin and beyond.

“For Ponsse, reliable service solutions and strong local partners are a vital part of supporting our customers’ everyday operations”, says Jerry Koski, Manager for Service Dealers, Service Agreements & ESW at Ponsse USA. “Forest machines work in demanding conditions, and keeping them productive requires expertise, availability and trust built over time. Long-term cooperation with skilled service partners enables us to provide fast, professional support close to the customer, helping to minimise downtime and ensure smooth operations throughout the machine’s lifecycle.”

As business continued to grow, Aaron partnered with Jason Klukas in 2020. Jason brought a strong leadership background from his service in the U.S. Air Force, where he worked as a heavy diesel mechanic for 10 years. The partnership paved the way for a major expansion. In 2021, Road Runner Repair opened a state‑of‑the‑art facility in Cadott, WI, featuring:

·        Six service bays

·        A spacious, modern showroom

·        Geothermal heating and cooling

·        Extensive parts storage

“2026 is a milestone year for Road Runner Repair, marking 15 years in business, five years in our Cadott facility, and ten years of cooperation with Ponsse”, says Aaron Vizer. “Our long-standing partnership with Ponsse has been an important part of our journey and our ability to support customers with reliable, professional service. We’re proud of what we’ve achieved together and excited to celebrate these milestones by opening our doors for an Open House, welcoming customers, partners and the local community to join us.”

The Open House event will be organized on Friday, April 10, featuring a parts special, axe throwing, BBQ chicken and pulled pork with tasty sides, and opportunities to win great door prizes.

Aaron, Jason, and their team continue to put customers first, backed by a deep understanding of the industries they serve.

“Aaron and Jason represent everything that a manufacturer would appreciate partnering with. Their improvements to the facility, processes and commitment to the customers are substantial and a perfect example of ‘better every day’, says Jerry Koski. “It’s been a pleasure to work with Road Runner Repair and watch their business grow along with Ponsse’s customer base in their area. We thank Road Runner Repair for their commitment to Ponsse and our shared customers. We look forward to many more years of shared success.”
