Fox Cities Chamber: Future Fox Cities hiring event connects high school students with local employers

FOX CITIES, Wis. (March 23, 2026) – High school juniors and seniors have the opportunity to connect directly with several local employers at the upcoming Future Fox Cities Hiring Event on Wednesday, April 15, from 3 to 5 p.m.

Held immediately following the Future Fox Cities Career Expo, this free event is open to all current 11th and 12th grade students interested in exploring part-time, seasonal, internship, youth apprenticeship, or entry-level employment opportunities. Attendance at the career expo is not required to participate.

The hiring event is designed to help students take the next step toward employment by engaging with businesses that are actively hiring. Participants will have the chance to meet one-on-one with employers, learn about available positions, and take part in on-site interviews.

This event is ideal for students who are seeking summer or part-time work, looking to gain experience while still in high school, interested in youth apprenticeship opportunities, or preparing to enter the workforce after graduation.

Students are encouraged to come prepared with a resume, dress in professional attire, and review available job opportunities in advance to make the most of the experience.

Transportation to and from the event must be arranged independently by students or their school districts.

Interested students should speak to their school guidance or career counseling office for more information, or to register.
