Brookfield, WI – Tuesday, January 27, 2026 – The Elmbrook Education Foundation (EEF), in partnership with the School District of Elmbrook and The Corners of Brookfield, is proud to announce the return of Thank You Thursday for its fifth year. This beloved annual initiative provides parents, students, alumni, staff, and community members with a meaningful way to recognize and thank outstanding Elmbrook staff members.
“We are so grateful for our dedicated Elmbrook staff, ” said Danielle Leitner Baxter, EEF Board Member and Staff Appreciation Chair. “It’s a privilege to provide a quick yet meaningful way for families, students, staff, alumni, and community members to share their appreciation. Partnering with Elmbrook Schools, The Corners of Brookfield and Grimaldi’s again this year amplifies our efforts to showcase the commitment and excellence of the Elmbrook team!”
Nominations, also known as Thank You Notes, may be submitted online at elmbrookschools.org/nominate beginning January 28. The nomination portal will close on February 8.
Each week, EEF will randomly select twelve staff members to receive a $25 gift card to The Corners of Brookfield. The staff member who receives the most thank you notes overall will be awarded a $250 shopping spree at The Corners of Brookfield.
“Elmbrook Schools have been an incredible partner to The Corners of Brookfield and a vital part of our community. We’re excited to continue our partnership through the Thank You Thursday program, giving back to the dedicated staff who support students every day. It’s a small way for us to say a very big thank you.” — Jordyn Fischer, Director of Media & Marketing, The Corners of Brookfield.
Throughout the months of February, March, and April, EEF volunteers will also deliver Grimaldi’s pizza and salads to more than 1,400 staff members across 16 school buildings, making this the perfect time to say thank you to those who make a difference every day.
EEF was organized in 1958 to award scholarships to select Brookfield High School graduates. In 1999, the Foundation’s mission expanded to include teacher grants for innovative projects that benefit all students and raise money to support and strengthen outstanding learning ideas that improve the overall educational quality of our public schools. EEF has awarded over $1,700,000 in scholarships and over $845,000 in grants which enhance and extend the established curriculum and support projects that are beyond the district’s budget.
