Milwaukee, Wis. – Better Business Bureau of Wisconsin is pleased to announce the recipients of its prestigious BBB Torch Awards for Ethics and BBB Spark Awards for Entrepreneurship. The recipients were selected by an independent, distinguished panel of business and community leaders and will be recognized at the 2026 BBB Ethics Awards Luncheon on Thursday, May 14th at the Italian Community Center in Milwaukee.
Since 2003, BBB has honored businesses and non-profit organizations of all sizes that meet the highest standard of ethics and trust among their employees, customers and local communities, embodying BBB’s mission to advance marketplace trust.
“The BBB Ethics Awards application process is both rigorous and meaningful, requiring organizations to reflect on and articulate their commitment to character, culture, customers, and community impact,” said Julie Albrecht, Executive Director of the BBB of Wisconsin Foundation. “These organizations exemplify what it means to lead with integrity and should be proud of their efforts.”

For the ninth year, the BBB Spark Awards recognized Wisconsin entrepreneurial leaders who demonstrate a high level of character and are committed to giving back to their community. The goal of the BBB Spark Awards is to continue to inspire young entrepreneurs to both follow their dreams and continue to work toward an ethical and positive marketplace.
“The 2026 award recipients took the opportunity to share meaningful and inspiring stories that highlight their commitment to ethics in their organizations and communities,” said Jim Temmer, President and CEO of BBB Wisconsin. “We congratulate these Wisconsin businesses and look forward to celebrating them at our awards ceremony in May.”
All the winners will be recognized at the 2026 BBB Ethics Awards Luncheon on Thursday, May 14th, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. at the Italian Community Center in Milwaukee. With Diana Gutierrez from WISN 12 in Milwaukee as the Master of Ceremonies and a panel of guest speakers talking about the ethical AI use, all are welcome to register to attend this event to honor the winners, network and connect with people who value ethics from throughout the state of Wisconsin.
