Milwaukee, Wis. – The BBB Wisconsin Foundation is proud to announce the launch of the Future Leaders of Integrity (FLY) Program, a new six-month virtual leadership initiative designed to help young adults ages 16–24 develop practical leadership skills rooted in trust, ethics, and integrity.
The FLY Program was created to empower the next generation of leaders through hands-on learning, mentorship, and real-world community engagement. Participants will explore topics including ethical decision-making, responsible AI usage, scam prevention, customer trust, communication, and professional development. The program will be facilitated by BBB Wisconsin’s own Dr. Rubens Pessanha, alongside guest subject matter experts and community leaders.
“FLY is about helping young adults build the confidence and practical skills needed to lead with integrity in school, work, business, and their communities,” said Julie Albrecht, Executive Director of the BBB Foundation. “We believe trust and ethical leadership are more important than ever, and this program creates meaningful opportunities for young people to develop both.”
Participants will engage in:
● Live virtual leadership sessions
● Hands-on learning activities
● Mentorship opportunities
● Real-world capstone projects
● Community-focused leadership experiences
The pilot program will launch with two cohorts and is designed to serve participants statewide through an accessible virtual format. Graduates of the program will receive a BBB-backed certificate of completion and continue to have opportunities for mentorship, volunteer involvement, and future engagement with BBB initiatives. Applications for the inaugural FLY cohort are now open. The application deadline is Friday, July 3, 2026.
