A.C.E. Building Service: Earns three projects of distinction awards

Sheboygan, Wis. (January 28, 2026) – Some of the most impressive and distinct construction projects for 2025 were recognized at the Annual Associated Builders & Contractors (ABC) of Wisconsin Projects of Distinction Awards Program held January 15, 2026, at the Glacier Canyon Lodge Conference Center in The Wisconsin Dells. A.C.E. Building Service is proud to have had three construction projects recognized for 2025. A.C.E. team members and project owners were on-hand to accept the prestigious awards. The projects were judged in a rigorous process by a panel of construction experts based on a number of criteria, including safety, quality, owner satisfaction, execution and coordination, budgeting, difficult and unusual challenges and overall distinctiveness.

In the Industrial – Over $3 Million category, A.C.E. was awarded a Gold Award for the HTT Inc Press Expansion. This project delivered a 32,075-square-foot expansion of HTT’s Sheboygan manufacturing facility, supporting continued growth for one of the region’s leading precision metal stamping companies. Before construction began, a city street and seven major utilities were either vacated or relocated, followed by phased foundations, a challenging facility power supply consolidation, and an innovative snow-load solution—delivering a space that will allow HTT Inc the ability to better serve their customers.

In the Pre-Engineered Building – Over $2.5 million category, A.C.E. earned a Gold Award for the Dakota Supply Group (DSG) New Warehouse and Distribution Facility in Sheboygan, Wisconsin.

DSG partnered with High Tech Investments and A.C.E. Building Service to construct a new 40,000-square-foot distribution center, replacing an outdated downtown facility with limited access and capacity. Built with the Butler Landmark system, the facility features warehouse and office space, bulk storage, demo areas, and generous storage capacity.

A.C.E. earned a Gold Award for the Office and Building Facade Renovation at the Wisconsin Aluminum Foundry. Wisconsin Aluminum Foundry partnered with Somerville Architects & Engineers and A.C.E. Building Service to renovate and expand its offices, reclaiming former storage areas to deliver 14,000 square feet of modern office workspace. Phased construction minimized disruption while adding ADA-compliant access and industrial-inspired interiors, tying together a unified exterior that honors WAF’s heritage and supports future growth.

“Earning three Projects of Distinction Awards is a tremendous honor for A.C.E. Building Service,” said Chris Herzog, president of A.C.E. Building Service. “It reflects our team’s commitment to safety, quality, and strong partnerships—and we’re proud to see these projects recognized among Wisconsin’s most distinct.”
