MADISON, WIS. – Twincounty Famous Diamond brings home Senior and Grand Champion of the International Junior Brown Swiss Show. Diamond, the winning junior-owned Five-Year-Old Cow, is exhibited Dakota Fraley of Reedsburg, Wis., and received the Lillian & Keith King and Jim King Grand Champion of the Junior Show Award. Following her as the Reserve Grand Champion is the Reserve Senior Champion and second-prize Five-Year-Old Cow, Colebrook Creek Dt Alina, exhibited by Abigail Wilber of New Hartford, Conn.
The winning Junior Three-Year-Old, Fairdale Kickstart Figgy, is named Intermediate Champion of the International Brown Swiss Junior Show and receives a $300 cash award sponsored by Brierwood of Hillsdale, Ill., presented in memory of Ron and Sally Paaske. Figgy is owned by Kylie & Micah Sparrow of Stamping Ground, Ky. Following as Reserve Intermediate Champion of the International Brown Swiss Junior Show is Harvest Brz Els Windstorm, the winning Spring Junior Two-Year-Old. Windstorm is exhibited by Tristen Ostrom of Kaukauna, Wis.
In the heifer show, Junior Champion honors go to the winning Fall Calf, Jenlar Acclaimed Waikiki-ETV, exhibited by Brianna & Abby Meyer of Chilton, Wis. The Reserve Junior Champion is the first-prize Winter Yearling, Ar-Line D Luscious Lady-ETV, leased by Dana Johnson and owned by Ranae Herman of Tomah, Wis.
Official judge Allyn Paulson of Rockford, Ill., along with his associate Brian Olbrich of Harvard, Ill., were charged with placing 145 head of Brown Swiss in the International Junior Brown Swiss Show.
