Program Kicks off with November Event in Kenosha
October 29, 2025 – Kenosha, Wis. – Wisconsin’s technology landscape is rapidly evolving, and women are stepping up to lead the way. Women in Technology Wisconsin, Inc. (WiT) is partnering with Microsoft to launch AI in Motion, a new five-part event series designed to explore the impact of artificial intelligence on business, education, and the workforce while inspiring and equipping women and girls to shape the future of technology.
The series kicks off with “Building Our Region’s Future” on Tuesday, November 19, from 7:15 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at UW–Parkside in Kenosha. Each event in the series will feature leaders from industry, education, and government sharing insights on innovation, workforce readiness, and collaboration across Southeast Wisconsin. “Wisconsin has the opportunity to lead the nation in shaping how artificial intelligence is adopted,” said Michelle Schuler, Microsoft TechSpark Wisconsin. “We are showcasing the real work happening on the ground to prepare our communities, our workforce, and our educators for this future.”
The AI in Motion series builds on Wisconsin’s growing reputation as a hub for innovation and talent development. Through this collaboration with Microsoft, WiT aims to ensure women remain at the forefront of emerging technology opportunities, driving inclusive growth and future-ready careers statewide.
“From creating our Task Force on Workforce and Artificial Intelligence to securing investments to support the adoption and use of AI at our technical colleges, here in Wisconsin, we’re making opportunities for AI job training and preparing our workforce for the future a top priority,” said Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers. “With Wisconsin soon to be home to the world’s most powerful AI datacenter, we’re on the cutting edge of AI power, not just in the U.S., but around the globe. We must continue investing in AI education and training and creating more family-supporting, high-skill jobs to help our state compete and stay ahead in a 21st-century economy.”
