Madison, WI — “We appreciate Governor Evers’ proactive leadership in ensuring Wisconsin citizens have easier access to vaccines. With ongoing challenges at the federal level, this executive order provides timely reassurance for Wisconsin families. The COVID-19 vaccines have been rigorously tested, are proven to save lives, and have broad bipartisan support.
“While we greatly applaud this order, physicians remain frustrated that the debate over proven, life-
saving vaccines even exists as it distracts from what we should all be working toward – universal access to vaccines.
“Our member physicians want what is best for their patients—regardless of age or health status.
Governor Evers’ action will help restore normalcy and ensure patients can have meaningful
conversations with their physicians about the best choices for themselves and their families.”
