Dr. Imran Andrabi, President & CEO of Froedtert ThedaCare, named 2026 Chair-elect
MADISON, Wis. — Froedtert ThedaCare’s President & CEO Imran Andrabi, MD, FAAFM, was selected Chair-elect of the Wisconsin Hospital Association (WHA) Board of Directors during its Oct. 23 meeting in Madison. Andrabi will serve as Chair-elect in 2026, along with Brian Stephens, President/CEO of Door County Medical Center, serving as Chair.
Additionally, six new at-large members were selected to serve on the WHA Board beginning in 2026.
“The Wisconsin Hospital Association Board is comprised of the state’s most prominent health care leaders who, in close partnership with our staff, advance policies that improve health care quality and access across Wisconsin,” said WHA President/CEO Kyle O’Brien.
As President and CEO of Froedtert ThedaCare, Dr. Andrabi leads a system of 25,000 team members, 19 hospitals and more than 360 outpatient locations. He assumed the role in July 2024 following the combination of Froedtert Health and ThedaCare in January 2024.

Dr. Andrabi is a board-certified family medicine physician and a fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians. He earned his medical degree from King Edward Medical College in Lahore, Pakistan, and began his career in the U.S. at Mercy Health in Toledo, Ohio, where he rose from intern to serve as President and CEO.
