Wisconsin Beverage Association: New economic impact data shows Wisconsin beverage companies deliver over $5 billion into the state economy

MADISON, Wis. – Wisconsin’s beverage producers and distributors have long been a vital force in the state’s economy, creating jobs and fueling growth throughout the state. A new report from American Beverage reveals new economic impact data, painting a picture of this industry’s immense impact statewide:

  • Generates $5.1 billion in direct economic impact.
  • Operates more than 100 manufacturing, sales and distribution facilities.
  • Contributes more than $1 billion in state and federal taxes.
  • Supports more than 84,000 jobs statewide, including over 5,000 direct employees.
  • Provides nearly $500 million in wages and benefits to Wisconsin workers.
  • Contributes over $50 million to charitable causes in Wisconsin.
