Visit Milwaukee: Announces 2026 Hotel Month to encourage winter travel 

Special deals at 30+ hotels encourage travel and boost business in key need window 
MILWAUKEE (Nov. 28, 2025) – Visit Milwaukee is pleased to announce the return of its popular annual campaign, Hotel Month, offering exceptional lodging deals and winter travel inspiration as part of a citywide effort to boost tourism and occupancy during the traditionally quieter months.  

The campaign officially launches today, with booking offers available for travel from January 14 through February 28, 2026. During Hotel Month, participating partner hotels across the Greater Milwaukee area will offer discounts of 15-25% off standard nightly rates, giving visitors and staycationers alike excellent reason to experience Milwaukee in the winter. Some hotels are also offering packages to enhance the experience, while dozens of Visit Milwaukee partner businesses at restaurants, attractions and beyond are offering additional deals timed with Hotel Month, for a total of 110 Milwaukee businesses participating in the campaign.  

“Milwaukee is a city that comes alive even in the chill of winter,” said Josh Albrecht, chief marketing officer at Visit Milwaukee. “Our Hotel Month campaign invites visitors to stay with us during January and February, unlocking savings on lodging while discovering cozy indoor experiences, vibrant culture and the warmth of Milwaukee hospitality. These offers not only benefit our hotel partners, but also generate meaningful support for restaurants, breweries, shops and local attractions throughout the Greater Milwaukee area.” 

A comprehensive marketing plan has been built to support the promotion, including paid digital advertising across the region, social media, a special partnership with local brand Milwaukee Uncut12 days of giveaways, curated winter itineraries and a full partner toolkit to encourage promotion by participating businesses.
