The Alliance: To host benefit design workshops for employers in Wausau, Eau Claire, and Milwaukee

MADISON, WI – The Alliance will host three benefit design workshops this summer in Wausau, Eau Claire, and Milwaukee, Wisconsin. These in-person sessions are free to attend and will give employers proven solutions to make their benefit plans more effective.

“This hands-on workshop offers employers a unique opportunity to collaborate with peers while gaining practical strategies and real-world insights to design smarter benefit plans that improve employee health outcomes and drive better value for their organization,” said Mike Roche, Director of Business Development at The Alliance.

These workshops are best suited for employers who self-fund their employee health plans or are considering self-funding. Brokers and consultants are also welcome to attend the event to gain insights they can use with their clients.

All events will feature similar content, with local employers speaking about their experiences with self-funding. Each event will be held from 7:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. Attendees should choose the date and location that is most convenient for them.

  • Tuesday, July 22 – Wausau, WI
  • Tuesday, July 29 – Eau Claire, WI
  • Tuesday, August 5 – Milwaukee, WI

These events will feature three knowledgeable speakers from The Alliance, Curt Kubiak, President and CEO, Bobbie Jo Aue, Director of Employer Strategy & Solutions, and Mike Roche, Director of Business Development.

Kubiak works with the Board of Directors and senior leadership team to establish the strategic direction of the cooperative. Aue is involved in developing effective network and benefit design strategies for The Alliance’s employer-members and their brokers, including innovative steering and tiering tactics. Roche is responsible for working with The Alliance employer-members on health benefit strategies, sharing data-based information to help them manage their healthcare spend, and serving as a voice for employers.
