PEWAUKEE, WI., JUNE 2, 2025 – Terex, a global leader in machinery design and manufacturing, is expanding its operations in Pewaukee, Wisconsin. The company has invested in a new 60,000-square-foot production space, which will eventually create more than 100 new jobs.

“Terex Utilities is committed to meeting our customers’ immediate and long-term needs. We remain focused on our strategic priorities around safety, world-class quality, competitive lead times, and innovation,” said Eric Kluver, Vice President and General Manager. “We are investing in all these areas so we can provide the best experience and value to our customers.”

A publicly traded enterprise, Terex has established itself as a leader in manufacturing machinery for the construction, maintenance and industrial sectors. Terex Utilities, a leading global manufacturer of bucket trucks and digger derricks for the electric utility industry, currently operates a service center in Waukesha and will expand its installation capacity with this strategic investment.

The project is part of Terex’s strategic initiative to meet increasing customer demand, particularly to keep pace with the global energy transition currently underway.

“We’re excited to see Terex growing its footprint in our city,” said Steve Bierce, Mayor of Pewaukee. “This expansion brings quality jobs, strengthens our local economy, and showcases Pewaukee as a great place for innovative manufacturers to thrive.”

“Terex Utilities is a prime example of a business building upon its long history of expanding and innovating in Waukesha County,” said Paul Farrow, Waukesha County Executive.

The Waukesha County Center for Growth (WCCG) and Milwaukee 7 (M7), the regional economic development organization, also worked to attract Terex to Wisconsin.

“Terex’s expansion highlights the strength of Waukesha County’s workforce and business climate,” said Therese Thill, Executive Director of WCCG. “We’re proud to support this investment, which brings new jobs and reinforces our leadership in advanced manufacturing.”

“I’m thrilled that Terex has chosen Waukesha County and the City of Pewaukee for their expansion,” said Rebecca Gries, Executive Director of M7. “The company’s decision underscores southeastern Wisconsin’s manufacturing strength and the highly skilled workforce that powers the production of complex machinery.”
