Eagle, WI. – The Sustainable Business Council (SBC) is proud to announce that nominations are now open for the 2025 Sustainable Business Awards. These prestigious awards celebrate the individuals, teams, and companies in Wisconsin and the Upper Midwest who are leading the way in environmental, social, and governance (ESG) innovation and driving real, measurable impact.
Since 2014, the Sustainable Business Awards have elevated forward-thinking businesses and sustainability leaders, showcasing excellence in sustainable products, services, and leadership. More than just an accolade, the awards provide recipients with a platform to inspire others, demonstrate their values, and amplify their impact.
Award Categories Include:
- Sustainable Product of the Year Award – Celebrating product design that drives environmental and social improvements.
- Innovative Service of the Year Award – Honoring services that enable ESG integration across value
chains and industries. - Sustainable Leadership Awards – Recognizing Executive Leaders and Sustainability Champions
who embed sustainability into strategy and culture. - Thomas L. Eggert Leadership Forward Award – A special recognition of individuals expanding
sustainability knowledge and networks across Wisconsin.

- Self-nominations and nominations of others are welcome.
- New in 2025: Video nominations are accepted with submissions (optional, max 2 minutes).

Each application will be reviewed by a committee from SBC’s Board of Advisors. Strong submissions provide clear descriptions, quantified impacts, and examples of innovation and leadership.
