Cohesive, Branded Sign Activations Amplify Guest Experience and Appearance of Major Golf Event, Large-scale Sporting Events
SHEBOYGAN FALLS, Wis. FifthColor Full-Service Experiential Marketing Agency showcases capabilities at the 80th U.S. Women’s Open at Erin Hills in Erin with more than 500 signage activations. The project spans countless hours of planning and design work. Plus 200 hours of installation and almost 100+ hours for disassembly by FifthColor’s team of signage experts.
It is not the first time FifthColor took over at a large-scale golf event! FifthColor has a long history of managing signage for the PGA Championship for more than 30 years as well as for other golf events such as The Masters, U.S. Senior Open and Walker Cup.
Debuting at the 2025 U.S. Women’s Open at Erin Hills are:
– SEG venue IDs to identify specific key hospitality locations throughout the tournament
– Photo-op display with acrylic inserts
– Updated archway entrance showcasing the 80th year of the U.S. Women’s Open
“As with everything we do, our goal is to elevate the brand in a way that creates a real, immersive experience—not just for our clients, but for the people they’re trying to reach,” said Justin Webb, president and owner of FifthColor. “For an event of this scale, signage plays a huge role in the guest experience. Every detail—from wayfinding to final installation—was intentionally designed to guide, impress, and leave a lasting impression.”
The focus of golf event signage is to create elements that are visually appealing but also durable, built to perform and designed to elevate with high quality graphics while also playing an important role in guiding the fans through the venues. Most recently in May, FifthColor brought bold branding to Whistling Straits golf courses for the PGA Works Collegiate Championship and the 2025 PGA Championship at Quail Hollow (Charlotte, N.C.) as well as the 2025 NFL Draft (Green Bay). Additional notable sporting event projects include the 2025 College Football National Championship (Atlanta, GA), LIV Golf Dallas Team Championship (Carrollton, TX) and 2025 Ryder Cup Year To Go Celebration (New York City, NY).
“From bold visuals to immersive fan experiences, our team worked tirelessly to make every moment unforgettable,” said Webb.
