Reinhart Boerner Van Deuren s.c.: Welcomes four new shareholders

MILWAUKEE – Reinhart Boerner Van Deuren s.c. (Reinhart) is pleased to announce that Karyn Durkin (Employee Benefits), Sara McNamara (Banking and Finance), Dan Murphy (Litigation) and Melissa Reynebeau (Corporate Law) have been elected shareholders of the firm.

Reinhart’s new shareholders and their areas of focus:

Durkin is a shareholder in Reinhart’s Employee Benefits Practice, advising on retirement plans for private, single employer clients and Taft-Hartley multiemployer plans. She regularly helps clients navigate the full range of issues, such as regulatory compliance, plan and trust and design administration, plan mergers and terminations and the application of fiduciary duties and prohibited transaction provisions of ERISA and the Internal Revenue Code. Durkin earned her J.D., cum laude, from Marquette University Law School.

McNamara is a shareholder in Reinhart’s Banking and Finance, Litigation and Business Reorganization practices, where she counsels clients on matters including corporate governance, capital formation, mergers and acquisitions, asset sales and purchases and finance transactions for both public and private companies, including acquisition financings, asset-based financings and mezzanine financings. She also represents clients in bankruptcy proceedings, workouts, restructurings, receiverships and other troubled debt transactions, including the sale and purchase of distressed businesses. McNamara earned her J.D., magna cum laude, from Marquette University Law School.

Murphy is a shareholder in the Litigation and Regulatory and Administrative Law practices, where he draws upon his extensive experience trying cases as a prosecutor and his deep knowledge of the law to counsel and represent companies and individuals frequently in complex legal matters. Applying a proactive, insightful approach to best resolving each situation, Murphy handles a variety of matters, including ERISA and employee benefits litigation, white collar matters, health care litigation, shareholder disputes, product liability and environmental claims, and real estate litigation. Murphy earned his J.D., cum laude, from Marquette University Law School.

Reynebeau is a shareholder in Reinhart’s Corporate Law Practice, where she advises public and closely held companies with mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, contract drafting and negotiations, equity issuances, early-stage structuring and financing, general corporate governance and entity formation, and a wide array of other transactional matters. She has extensive experience working with private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies, as well as strategic investors across various industries, including manufacturing, technology, consumer products, construction and professional services. Reynebeau earned her J.D., summa cum laude, from the University of Wisconsin Law School.
