Washington, D.C. – Americans who purchase health insurance through the Affordable Care Act (ACA) marketplace have to enroll in a 2026 plan by today in order to ensure uninterrupted coverage in the new year, but Trump and Republicans in Congress are burying their heads in the sand and ignoring their health care crisis. Since passing the largest health care cuts in history this summer and unleashing unfathomable premium increases on hard-working Americans, the GOP has done nothing to end their disastrous war on health care. Trump and the GOP even rejected Democrats’ common-sense plan to end the Republican premium hikes, instead continuing their gameplan of giving luxury boxes to billionaires and relegating working families to the cheap seats.
