VERONA, Wis. (Sept. 29, 2025) — Women will soon have a new place to turn for care that truly listens. The Modern Women’s Wellness Center, opening on Oct. 1 at 1029 N Edge Trail in Verona, within the Prairie Oaks Retail Center, was created to provide a personalized, root-cause approach to women’s health, one that prioritizes listening, understanding, and long-term solutions.
For decades, many women have reported feeling unheard in medical settings. A recent survey found that 93% of women report feeling dismissed when seeking care (FemTech World). Among millennial women, 72% said their doctor ignored or downplayed their concerns (Mira Fertility). Modern Women’s Wellness Center offers a different experience, providing a supportive environment where women are empowered to take charge of their health.

Customized prescriptions are filled through Modern Health Pharmacy, a family-founded pharmacy owned by center founder Shellie Braxton. With compounding expertise dating back to the 1980s, the pharmacy provides safe, tailored medications that support each woman’s individualized treatment plan.
