The Neenah-based engineering and architectural firm announces its current projects supporting Wisconsin’s growing communities
NEENAH, Wis. (June 3, 2025) — McMahon, a full-service, professional engineering, architectural and consulting firm, is proud to have a key role in designing the new Neuschafer Community Library in Fremont. This innovative library will feature purpose-built spaces for all ages, including interactive learning areas for kids, tech zones for teens, quiet corners for adults and social spaces for seniors. Beyond this project, McMahon remains committed to supporting Wisconsin’s growing communities through a range of impactful initiatives, from infrastructure improvements to modern business developments.
The Village of Fremont’s Neuschafer Community Library reflects McMahon’s expertise in civil, architectural, structural, plumbing and electrical engineering. Its design honors Fremont’s fishing heritage, inspired by wooden boat frames, dock piers and the flowing contours of the Wolf River. The building’s rooftop solar panels will be strategically placed to capture maximum sunlight throughout the day, greatly reducing energy costs.
McMahon is providing design and construction services for the Larsen Road Construction in the Town of Neenah. The reconstruction will improve access to the new Neenah High School, with updates including road widening, new turn lanes and traffic signals and a ten-foot multi-modal trail, allowing for safer, more accessible travel for all. McMahon also assisted in obtaining funding for this project through the Wisconsin Local Roads Improvement Program.
The Wolf River Development Company is moving into a new three-story office building in Keshena. McMahon provided civil, architectural, structural, plumbing and electrical engineering services for the new building, which will also be home to a financial group, and include a first-floor coffee shop and incubator spaces for local startup companies.
McMahon and Boson Company, Inc. are partnering on an 80,000-square-foot addition to the Lincoln Wood Products building in Merrill. McMahon is providing architectural and structural design services for the space that includes room for additional production, storage spaces, a new employee breakroom and additional restroom facilities.
