Experienced hospitality professional, Keola Shimooka, has been named director of sales at Hilton Madison Monona Terrace. In his new role, Keola will oversee the hotel’s sales team with a priority on elevating the guest experience, driving client satisfaction and reinforcing Hilton Madison Monona Terrace’s position as a cornerstone of Madison’s dynamic hospitality scene.
Most recently, Keola served as convention sales manager at Destination Madison. In this role, he collaborated with hotels and other venues as well as businesses to elevate the city’s profile as a premier meetings and events destination. Prior to this, Keola spent more than two decades at the Marriott West in Madison. He built a strong foundation in various banquet and events roles at the property before being promoted to sales manager. Keola’s commitment to the hospitality industry has been recognized by Meeting Professionals International’s Wisconsin Chapter with the Industry Advocate Award for 2024-2025.
