MADISON, Wis. (February 19, 2025) — Herzing University, an accredited, private nonprofit institution with 11 campuses across eight states and an online division, introduces comprehensive suites of Cybersecurity and Computer Science degree programs enrolling now, with courses beginning in May 2025.
Combining a robust foundation in technological innovation with practical, hands-on learning opportunities, these programs are designed to address the growing demand for expertise in technology and digital security, providing students with the specialized skills necessary to thrive in rapidly evolving and highly challenging industries.
To meet this demand, Herzing University developed two comprehensive program suites:
- The Cybersecurity suite focuses on addressing critical global threats like identity theft, phishing, and hacking. The suite includes:
- Master of Science in Cybersecurity (MSC)
- Bachelor of Science in Cybersecurity (BSC)
- Post Master’s Certificate in Cybersecurity (PMCC), and
- Post Bachelor’s Certificate in Cybersecurity (PBCC).
- The Computer Science suite focuses on areas such as artificial intelligence, software engineering, and data analytics. The suite includes:
- Master of Science in Computer Science (MSCS), and
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science (BSCS)

The course variety across Herzing’s Information Technology (IT) Department delivers essential skills and experience critical to protecting a 21st century, tech-driven world, including:
- Hands-on experience with real-world scenarios in cybersecurity and computer science
- Access to innovative AI-driven technologies and tools, including frameworks and scalable data systems
- Internships with leading companies on current cybersecurity and computer science industry projects, such as threat analysis, software development, and big data analytics
- Targeted coursework designed to enhance skills in high-demand areas such as object-oriented programming, human-computer interaction, and AI implementation
- AI-infused program outcomes and curricula, designed to address challenges in cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, and data analysis
