Green Bay Austin Straubel International Airport: Showcases aviation strength at EAA AirVenture 2025

Connecting communities and driving economic impact to our region

(Green Bay, Wis.) – Green Bay Austin Straubel International Airport (GRB) is proud to be a part of the world’s greatest aviation celebration—EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2025—taking place next week in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. Attendees can find GRB at Hangar C, Booth 3143, where airport staff will be connecting with aviation enthusiasts, general aviation pilots and industry professionals.

In addition to the main GRB booth, the airport is also represented by PilotSmith, GRB’s on-field flight school and simulator training partner. Located in the Education & Innovation area, EAA visitors can learn about flight training opportunities at one of the largest flight schools in Wisconsin. Attendees can also explore programs designed to inspire the next generation of aviators.

Supporting the event from the ground up, several GRB-based airline staff are contributing their company activations including team members from American Airlines and Delta Air Lines. They are helping their respective carriers create memorable experiences for AirVenture attendees.

Back in Green Bay, the airport is fully prepared to welcome increased air traffic. GRB’s Fixed Based Operator (FBO) partners Jet Air Group and AvFlight Green Bay are staffed and ready to handle the more than 400  aircraft expected to arrive at GRB throughout the week. Both FBOs are offering full-service support for general aviation and charter flights heading to EAA, including quick turns, fuel and amenities for crew and passengers.

“GRB plays a key role in connecting people to EAA AirVenture—whether they’re flying in on commercial service with Delta, American, or Frontier, or landing their own aircraft through our FBOs,” said Marty Piette, A.A.E., Airport Director. “This event is a showcase of aviation innovation, but it’s also about connecting communities and the spirit of flight—and we’re proud to support that on every level.”

Brown County Executive Troy Streckenbach added that EAA AirVenture brings significant economic impact to our region. “Every year, this event fills our hotels, boosts activity at restaurants and supports local retailers, he explains. “GRB serves as a critical gateway for that growth by driving tourism and commerce and we look forward an exciting, fun-filled family event this year.”
