Artists invited to exhibit for over 300,000 travelers
(Green Bay, Wis.) – Green Bay Austin Straubel International Airport (GRB) is excited to announce an open call for artists to display their work in the airport’s public spaces between September 8, 2025 and February 15, 2026. With more than 300,000 travelers expected to pass through GRB during this period, this is a unique opportunity for artists of all ages and disciplines to showcase their creativity to a broad and diverse audience.
GRB is seeking sports-themed work during this period. They encourage artists to channel their inner competitor as they create unique designs inspired by their favorite sports, athletes, teams or personal experiences.
Accepted artwork will be prominently displayed at the airport and featured on the GRB’s social media channels throughout the exhibition period. The airport has three glass display cases suited for small prints, paintings and various-sized artworks, along with wall space for oversized pieces and floor space for larger sculptural work. GRB will provide installation hardware, artist information tags and promotional support.
“Local arts and culture enrich communities and improve our quality of life,” said Marty Piette, A.A.E., Airport Director. “We’re proud to offer a space where art and travel can intersect and add to the enjoyment of travelers and the greater community.”
Artists may submit one piece for consideration, with some exceptions for multi-part works such as triptychs or collections. Submissions can be drawings, photographs, videos or any creative representation of the piece.
