Molson Coors Former President and CEO Gavin Hattersley and Royal Capital Group Founder and CEO Kevin Newell Lead Annual Fundraiser
MILWAUKEE, WI – The Greater Milwaukee Urban League announces its annual Black and White Ball, scheduled for Saturday, November 1, 2025, at the Baird Center Rooftop in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This signature event will kick off the organization’s 106th anniversary year, celebrating its key milestones and community impact.
The evening will be chaired by Gavin Hattersley, former President and CEO of Molson Coors Beverage Company, with Kevin Newell, Founder and CEO of Royal Capital Group, serving as Co-Chair. As the organization’s largest fundraiser, proceeds will support essential programs and initiatives.
“As we honor 106 years of service to Milwaukee, this event brings together business and community leaders who share our vision of galvanizing families to achieve economic self-reliance and generational wealth,” said Dr. Eve M. Hall, President and CEO of the Greater Milwaukee Urban League.
“The Greater Milwaukee Urban League has been building a stronger Milwaukee for over a century,” said Hattersley, the evening’s keynote speaker. “We’re investing in a future where every community member has the chance to thrive and have access to economic opportunity.”
Co-Chair Kevin Newell emphasized the business community’s commitment to the Greater Milwaukee Urban League’s mission. “Supporting the League means investing in our community’s economic strength and creating opportunities for all residents to succeed,” said Newell.
The evening will end with a performance by National Recording Artist Shonn Hinton, a Wisconsin resident with international appeal—a talented bassist, singer, songwriter, producer, and studio musician. Hinton was the music director for Mary J. Blige and toured with John Legend and Jill Scott.
