Froedtert ThedaCare: Imran Andrabi recognized as one of modern healthcare’s 100 most influential people in healthcare

MILWAUKEE — Froedtert ThedaCare is pleased to announce that Imran Andrabi, MD, FAAFM, president and chief executive officer of the organization, was recognized by Modern Healthcare as one of the 100 Most Influential People in Healthcare of 2025.

Froedtert ThedaCare is an integrated health care system of more than 28,000 team members, serving nearly half of Wisconsin’s population.

“Being included on Modern Healthcare’s list of the 100 Most Influential People in Healthcare for 2025 is an extraordinary honor, and this recognition truly belongs to our team,” said Dr. Andrabi.

The recognition of being named one of the 100 Most Influential People in Healthcare acknowledges and honors individuals who are deemed by the Modern Healthcare newsroom to be the most influential figures in the industry in terms of leadership and impact.

Dr. Andrabi is a family physician with a background in academic medicine who has cared for patients in a variety of settings, from primary care to central city clinics. He is committed to improving the health and well-being of people in Wisconsin. He is a nationally recognized leader who brings more than 30 years of medical, operational and strategic expertise and innovative leadership that will enhance Froedtert ThedaCare’s ability to provide outstanding care and services to communities.

Since assuming the president and CEO role at Froedtert ThedaCare in July 2024, Dr. Andrabi continues to lead strategy in the prediction and prevention of health care challenges to contribute to the well-being of communities. He also supports enhanced integrated care models that ensure access to exceptional quality care that is safe, reliable, equitable and coordinated.

Under his leadership, Froedtert ThedaCare has continued to collaborate with community leaders and organizations across the regions it serves to determine how best to be a proactive partner in health.
