Froedtert ThedaCare Health: Detterman named president of North Region

NEENAH, Wis. – Froedtert ThedaCare Health leaders are pleased to announce Lynn Detterman will serve as the president of the North Region of the organization.

In this role, Detterman will support Froedtert ThedaCare Health’s culture of high-quality, patient-centered care delivery by putting patients and families first at every interaction. Detterman will also assume operational responsibilities of the North Region, which includes developing and implementing plans for systems, processes and staffing designed to accelerate the system’s rapid growth and population health objectives.

“I’m grateful for the opportunity to step into this new role where I can continue supporting our teams who are providing comprehensive and high-quality care for patients and families,” said Detterman. “I’m excited about the future where we can further support our mission to improve the health and well-being of our communities, and help people live their unique, best lives.”

Detterman will be responsible for the overall leadership, management and strategic direction of the North Region. The North Region of Froedtert ThedaCare Health encompasses the Fox Valley region and five surrounding rural markets, as well as the Fond du Lac, Oshkosh, Manitowoc and Sheboygan areas. In this role, she will be part of the Froedtert ThedaCare Health Executive Leadership Team, where she will help shape the strategies and operations for the system.

Detterman joined ThedaCare in 2020 as Senior Vice President of ThedaCare South Region. With her leadership, patient care at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center-Neenah continued seamlessly during the recent $100M modernization. She helped the hospital achieve top decile, high-quality performance by Vizient, and attained a 5-star CMS rating. She oversaw the creation of an obstetrical emergency department and hospitalist program to provide comprehensive, safe care for expectant mothers and babies in northeast and central Wisconsin. She has also been instrumental in ThedaCare’s creation of two new health campuses in Fond du Lac and Oshkosh.

“Lynn is a leader who is truly dedicated to advancing our mission and vision – to be proactive partners in health and well-being, ensuring the people of our region have access to care, close to home,” said Imran A. Andrabi, MD, FAAFM, president and CEO of Froedtert ThedaCare Health. “Her people-centric, strategic leadership supports our organization’s commitment to expanding access, continuing high-quality care and reimaging the future of health care.”

Prior to ThedaCare, Detterman held several positions of increasing leadership at a Midwest health care system, including president, chief financial officer and manager of financial operations. In these roles, she successfully led three community hospitals, all of which had a 5-star CMS rating, and two had been recognized in Modern Healthcare’s Best Places to Work. She led the design and construction of a replacement hospital, established an ambulatory surgery center joint venture, and implemented surgical robotic technology at two hospitals.

She has a bachelor’s degree from Case Western and a master’s degree from Tiffin University. Detterman officially began her new role in May 2025.
