Fox Cities Chamber: 2025 “Fox Talks” series to debut February 12

FOX CITIES, Wis. (January 22, 2025) – The Fox Cities Chamber is holding a seminar, “The New Age of Scams, Identity Theft and Cybersecurity,” on Wednesday, February 12 from 8 – 9:30 a.m. at Community First Credit Union, 1575 Dresang Way, Neenah. Presenters are James Kilsdonk, Encompass Security and Megan Mulholland, Compass Communications, LLC.

Kilsdonk’s presentation, “The New Age of Scams and Identity Theft,” will focus on the realities of scams, identity theft, and cyber security. He will also discuss ways companies can remain compliant when it comes to cyber security, in an era of ever evolving scams and threats.

Mulholland’s presentation, “It’s Not if, But WHEN a Crisis Hits – Prepare Your Business,” will educate participants on the steps to take, both personally and professionally if their business suffers a cyber-attack.

This seminar is the first talk of the Chamber’s popular quarterly seminar series, now called “Fox Talks” (formerly Grow Seminar Series). Similar to the popular TED talks, Fox Talks will be presented by a variety of local experts speaking on topics that are important in today’s business climate. This year’s series will feature topic clusters, where 2-3 presenters will speak on topics like cybersecurity, professional development, marketing and social media, and leadership.

Space for the February 12 seminar is limited, so register soon. The seminar is free for Chamber members, and $25 for non-members. Sign up here: https://members.foxcc.net/chamber-events/Details/2025-fox-talks-the-new-age-of-scams-identity-theft-and-cybersecurity-1300897?sourceTypeId=Website.
