$20,000 Donated to Food + Farm Exploration Center
Cambria, WI — September 3, 2025 — The Didion Foundation is proud to announce that its 17th annual Strong Communities Golf Outing, held in August, raised $120,000 to support local initiatives focused on agriculture education, healthy living, and emergency services.
The event welcomed over 150 participants and nearly 60 sponsors for a day of golf, community, and giving.
A highlight of the outing was a $20,000 donation to the Food + Farm Exploration Center in Plover, WI — a hands-on learning destination that connects people to modern agriculture through immersive exhibits and educational programs.
“We’re proud to support organizations like the Food + Farm Exploration Center that make a real impact. Their work inspires future generations to understand and appreciate the role agriculture plays in our lives.” — Riley Didion, CEO of Didion, Inc.
“Strong partnerships are the backbone of our mission. The support of organizations like Didion ensures we can continue offering innovative programs and hands-on learning experiences that connect people to food, farming, and sustainability.” — Alexandria Behrend, Executive Director of the Food + Farm Exploration Center
The Didion Foundation’s Strong Communities initiative continues to invest in supporting safe and healthy communities, STEAAM education and agriculture. Over the years, funds have supported life-saving equipment for local fire departments, FFA leadership opportunities and education, hydroponic food system and greenhouse at area schools, community fitness center, and much more.
The funds raised at this year’s outing will help expand these efforts and deepen the Foundation’s impact across the area.
