APPLETON, Wis. (Sept. 10, 2025) — The Community First Fox Cities Marathon Presented by Miron Construction is proud to announce the donation of $91,000 to 30 local non-profits, running groups, nursing, police and fire programs and departments.
“The Community First Fox Cities Marathon has always been rooted in supporting our community,” explained race director Julie Johnson. “Every dollar raised through our events is reinvested locally, helping organizations that align with our mission of inspiring health, wellness and a stronger sense of connection in the Fox Cities.”

Additionally, the Fox Cities Marathon contributed $15,800 to 12 local high school cross-country teams. A portion of the total; $5 from each 5K registration, was donated to St. Elizabeth’s Cancer Center Foundation, totaling $4,300.02.
At this time, the Community First Fox Cities Marathon Presented by Miron Construction has returned over $1.3 million to the community.
