Centro Hispano announced today the theme for its upcoming 42nd Annual Celebration. This year’s event will be “La Magia del Pueblo” — the Magic of our Community, a theme which reflects the heart of Centro’s mission: strength in community, strength in spirit, strength in culture, and strength in knowledge. Centro’s Annual Celebration is slated for October 4th at 5:30pm at the organization’s new building on Madison’s southside at 2403 Cypress Way, Madison, WI.
“This is a night to reflect, rejoice, and recommit to the work we are doing here,” says Karen Menéndez Coller. “We want to celebrate the strength and magic of our community while ensuring it has the tools it needs to continue to thrive, inspire, and dream.”
Centro’s “Magic of Community” evening will honor culture, creativity, and the spirit of community. Attendees will celebrate the past year and look forward to opportunities to help continue to advance the organization’s critically important work bolstering our youth, , workforce development, immigration and crucial family support services that foster strength and well-being.

The magical evening will feature live music, good food, and community connection. The night will celebrate just that: community in a special place that brings people together. Organizers ask attendees to wear sparkles, patterns, and vibrant colors that reflect the spirit of both Centro as an organization and this community, celebrating joy. The stage is set for an inspiring evening of laughter, fun, and connection.
