Appleton Airport: Announces 23rd nonstop route

(APPLETON, Wis.) Nov. 18, 2025 – Appleton International Airport (ATW) announces Allegiant Airlines will provide the airport’s 23rd nonstop route, this one flying to the Los Angeles area to John Wayne/Orange County (SNA), California. Beginning May 20, 2026, this route will offer convenient nonstop service Wednesdays and Saturdays, making it faster and easier for travelers to reach the west coast.

The Los Angeles region is served by six airports, John Wayne airport provides access to the Newport Beach region, golf courses, state and national parks, spas, resorts, Disney, Hollywood, and more. In addition, Allegiant’s nonstop route to Fort Myers (RSW) begins service from ATW on November 21. The flight will be offered November through early May.

“Appleton is the only Allegiant base in Wisconsin, and they are investing in the continual growth of our airport,” said Airport Director Abe Weber. “Travelers in this part of the state are looking for fast, convenient air travel to major destinations for both business and leisure and Allegiant is responding to that growing demand.”

Despite challenges with the recent government shutdown, Weber says air travel will rebound.

“We will continue to offer the services to make traveling out of Appleton fast, easy, and more convenient for customers. With the addition of a nonstop flight to the Los Angeles region, there are even more options for travel in the future.”
