Cheese-centric Happenings Include Free Cheese Tattoos, King and Queen Curd Crowning, Curd Toss, and more!
SHEBOYGAN, Wis. Cheese fanatics unite at 3 Sheeps Brewing for the most Wisconsin holiday there is – National Cheese Curd Day! In celebration of Wisconsin cheese culture, 3 Sheeps’ rendition of a “Curd Fest” features a bulk of the cheese-themed activities and offerings held on Saturday, October 25 from 11am to 3pm with the celebration carrying through the evening with live music from Milwaukee’s 4 On The Floor at 6pm. It’s everything lovable about Wisconsin all packed into one cheesy day!
“We knew National Cheese Curd Day would be a good time but the response has completely blown us away. Only in Wisconsin could a day celebrating fried cheese turn into a full-on community celebration—with people competing for the titles of King and Queen Curd and lining up to get actual tattoos of cheese,” said Grant Pauly, founder and brewmaster of 3 Sheeps. “It’s been amazing to see so many local businesses get behind it and just see the excitement this event has generated online. What started as a goofy way to celebrate Wisconsin culture has turned into something we’ll be talking about for a long time. It’s equal parts ridiculous and wonderful—and we couldn’t be more excited.”
