St. Vincent de Paul is opening a second store on Thursday in Appleton to better serve the needs of the community.
The store is located at 1175 N. Westhill Blvd., Appleton. The thrift store will sell clothing, books, household items, furniture and more. It will also include a donation drop-off.
“The addition of another store will provide customers with more great deals and a wider selection of items,” said Executive Director Jody Kasten. “All funds raised at our stores support our community programs for our neighbors in need.”
The hours for the Westhill store are Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Donations will be accepted from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday. The store is closed Sundays.
The new store’s opening does not impact the current store located at 1924 W College Ave.
St. Vincent de Paul’s Appleton serves the community by offering vouchers to the store and financial assistance to neighbors in need in parts of Outagamie and Waupaca counties. In 2023, the Appleton store provided 17,345 items via vouchers and $229,712.75 in financial assistance through its bed, home visit and voucher programs.
