MILWAUKEE (January 10, 2024) – Lakefront Brewery has created some excellent IPAs over the years. From their flagship Lakefront IPA (with the big eye), to Hazy Rabbit, to the newest Chilly Rabbit, many double IPAs, and now its first gluten-free IPA, New Grist IPA.
“This has zero ‘gluten-free taste,’ and simply competes on a flavor-level with any other great IPA,” says Lakefront Brewery Brand Manager, Michael Stodola. “It sports all the citrus, pine, and dank flavors IPA drinkers seek.”
The smooth, clean New Grist IPA is well-balanced, and not overly bitter.
“Our latest gluten-free brewing process completely takes out any ‘gluten-free weirdness’ and the liquid simply tastes like beer,” added Lakefront Head Brewer, Luther Paul. “New Grist IPA is clean, smooth, and hoppy. I doubt anyone would think it was gluten-free from the taste.”
New Grist IPA has an ABV of 5.7% and 44 IBUs. It’s medium-light in body and gold in color. Its hoppy qualities come from Cascade, Citra, Idaho 7, and Mosaic hops.
