Fox Cities Chamber: Staff earns Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives (ACCE) certifications

FOX CITIES, Wis. (March 28, 2024) – Three staff members at the Fox Cities Chamber recently earned certifications through the Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives (ACCE).

Eric Broten, VP – Business Growth and Development, and Aimee Herrick, Director – Events and Emerging Talent, earned the ACCE’s inaugural Certificate in Workforce Development Fundamentals. This certificate empowers professionals with the knowledge and tools needed to navigate the intersection of economic and workforce development while closing education gaps. Each certificate recipient completed an intensive and comprehensive 6-week curriculum, featuring expert-led sessions, hands-on learning experiences, practical applications of economic and workforce development principles and an online exam.

Additionally, Herrick and Grace Malek, Special Events Coordinator, earned the ACCE Certificate in Chamber Management: Events, Programs, and Communications. This certificate provides fundamentals on event planning, including budgeting, event sponsorship, considerations for ensuring inclusive events, and more. It also provides insights and best practices to help meet your chamber’s communications goals. Recipients viewed presentations, completed coursework and took an online final exam to earn the certificate.
