Brookfield, WI – February 27, 2024 – At the February Elmbrook School Board meeting, Beth Dobrzynski, Executive Director of the EEF, presented a $20,000 check to Dr. Robert Hall, Director of LAUNCH. These funds will benefit LAUNCH and the over 400 students involved in the program.
“Our team of students and teachers are very grateful for the efforts of the EEF to support the learning within LAUNCH. This gift will provide updated technology needed to advance student work! In addition, we will continue the momentum we are building in automation and robotics. It is an exciting time for our students, teachers, and program,” said Dr. Robert Hall, Executive Director, LAUNCH.
The Elmbrook Education Foundation, in partnership with LAUNCH, hosted the 9th Annual EEF Golf Open, presented by TDS, on June 14, 2023. This event sold out to 150 golfers and set records in sponsorships, donations and golfers. A team of four LAUNCH students partnered with the EEF to plan this event.
“The EEF is proud to partner with LAUNCH as the LAUNCH program continues to help students link their passions and interests to high skill, high demand jobs within our region. Through real world experiences, these students are able to identify their path forward,” Beth Dobrzynski, Executive Director, EEF.
EEF was organized in 1958 to award scholarships to select Brookfield High School graduates. In 1999, the Foundation’s mission expanded to include teacher grants for innovative projects that benefit all students and raise money to support and strengthen outstanding learning ideas that improve the overall educational quality of our public schools. EEF has awarded over $1,600,000 in scholarships and over $625,000 in grants which enhance and extend the established curriculum and support projects that are beyond the district’s budget.
