Womens Summit: Event date announced

MANITOWOC, WI, January 9, 2023 – Women’s Summit is a day designed for women dedicated to exploring empowerment, nutrition, yoga, personal boundaries and community connectedness. The Women’s Summit event is powered by local women who are content experts in their fields. Join Laurie Crawford, Becky Hoffmann, Carrie Karbon, Kristin Odell, Tina Prigge, and Becky Richards for this interactive journey of connection and personal enrichment.

This day is an interactive event. Participants are encouraged to come dressed for a day of gentle movement, enlightening conversation, and nourishment for the body, mind, and soul. The experience will flow smoothly from one topic to the next in a safe, supportive environment with moderator Kristin Odell of Grow with KLO.

Do you love to eat?  Have you also felt like you’ve invested a lot of energy in dieting or finding the ‘best’ way to eat? “Cycles of restricted eating can ultimately create a sense of disconnection from our natural ability to know when and how much to eat,” commented Registered Dietitian Carrie Karbon. During the Women’s Summit, I will provide you with some guidance and strategies to rediscover the mind/body connection so you can invest your time and energy in YOU.

“What perfect timing. We’ll have settled into the new year and likely be anticipating the end of winter and the beginning of spring,” remarked Laurie Crawford of Laurie Crawford Coaching. “I’m delighted to be part of this event with such incredible women, all who will bring expertise and grounded, positive energy for a day of nourishing your mind, body, and spirit.”

“Following the pandemic, this is an opportunity for self-care, shared experience and fostering connections within our community,” remarked Tina Prigge of Vagabond Creative Studio.

“Come for the movement and flow, and stay for the exploration of self,” commented Yoga Instructor Becky Hoffmann. “I look forward to sharing the practice and the journey with you.”

“We will celebrate one another as we grow and learn,” stated organizer Becky Richards of Summit Clinical Services. “Participants will leave Women’s Summit with a sense of purpose, power, and perspective to take back to their day-to-day lives.”

The Women’s Summit will be held at the bright and scenic Maritime Museum in downtown Manitowoc. Tickets are required and currently available by visiting Facebook Women’s Summit https://www.facebook.com/events/1824440621251974.
