MADISON, Wis. – Quartz today announced that Brenda Murphy has joined the company as Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer. Murphy joins the Quartz leadership team with over 25 years in human resources management within the medical device, automotive, and pharmaceutical industries.

Murphy comes to Quartz after previously serving as Vice President of People at Vetsource, a pet care pharmaceutical organization. She brings over two decades of human resources experience gained through roles at companies including Welch Allyn Medical Devices, Ford Motor Company, and Johnson and Johnson. Murphy is also a talent influencer, thought partner, and regularly shares her leadership expertise as a panelist at various universities.

Murphy holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Michigan State University and master’s in business administration from Lawrence Technological University. She also holds several certifications including as a Certified Human Capital Strategist. She is passionate about building inclusive organizations and talent development.
