GREEN BAY, Wis. – Winterfest on Broadway, presented by Packers Give Back, is a family-friendly event designed to showcase all of the things we love about the season. The event is taking place Saturday, January 28 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Broadway District.
There will be ice and wood sculptures, winter activities, animals, music, food and more. The event will also feature a Candy Land Scavenger Hunt at participating Broadway District businesses where folks can follow a map to seek out treats.
Enjoy soup, cocoa and other food options carefully selected to warm your soul. Bundle up the entire family and stop down for this fun winter festival.
“People who choose to live in Wisconsin embrace all of the wonderful things the season can bring,” said Betsy Sorensen, Special Events Manager for On Broadway, Inc. “Our goal is to harness all things Wisconsinites love about living here and bring it into one event for people of all ages to enjoy. It is also a great opportunity for people to spend time in the district and see all of the incredible businesses that operate here.”
The bulk of the outdoor programming will take place at the corner of Broadway and Hubbard Street in and around Red Sculpture Park. The soup tasting contest will take place inside the Lyric Room. A map will be printed on the back of The Press Times and provided on site for those looking to take part in the Scavenger Hunt.
