GREEN BAY, WI – The Farmers’ Market on Broadway presented by Breakthrough is celebrating its 20th season in the Broadway District.
The market runs May 24 through September 27 for the 2023 season. Hours run from 3-8 p.m. every Wednesday. Hours reduce to 3-7 p.m. after Labor Day. The market is a rain or shine event.
The Farmers’ Market on Broadway is one of Wisconsin’s largest farmers’ markets and a popular community event. The market is filled with fruits, vegetables, flowers, food trucks, arts and crafts, and Broadway District businesses.
“We are excited to celebrate 20 years of the market this year over the course of the 19 week season,” said Allie Thut, director of special events, On Broadway, Inc. “There will be 110+ vendors selling locally made products and entertainment for the community to enjoy.”
“The Farmers’ Market on Broadway has been one of the single largest contributing factors to the revitalization efforts of the Broadway District,” said Brian Johnson, executive director, On Broadway, Inc. “In addition to the hundreds of small businesses that it helps support, it has provided critical space activation in a previously blighted area that showed the community what the district could be. In celebration of the 20th anniversary you can expect celebrity volunteers, a 20th anniversary brew under the beverage tent from Titletown Brewing Co., several opportunities to enjoy live music, and so much more.
