MILWAUKEE – Oct. 30, 2023 – Northwestern Mutual, a leading financial security company, announces the appointment of Frank DiMeglio as the new managing partner of its network office in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This encompasses locations in downtown Milwaukee, Mequon, Brookfield, Franklin and Racine. With his new position, DiMeglio aims to enhance Northwestern Mutuals’ impact in the Milwaukee area, broadening their reach and adding additional talent.
DiMeglio, who started his journey with Northwestern Mutual as an intern, brings 16 years of expertise and dedication to his new role. He expressed his enthusiasm for the unique business opportunity Milwaukee presents being so close to the home office. “I’m eager to dig in and elevate our incredible advisors and team members while growing the Milwaukee footprint and helping our clients reach their financial goals,” DiMeglio said. “My initial focus is to expand through increased recruiting efforts and grow our presence with additional offices throughout the region.”
By the end of 2024, DiMeglio aims to increase the number of advisors, with plans to recruit and onboard 40 new advisors. Additionally, he is passionate about creating a nationally recognized internship program and enhancing diversity and inclusion within his offices, ensuring that the team reflects the communities they serve.
DiMeglio started with Northwestern Mutual in 2008, following his graduation from Ursinus College in Pennsylvania. His introduction to financial advising through the Northwestern Mutual internship program was a transformative experience that ignited not only his career in the industry but dedication to growing the program in his own network office.
Over the years, DiMeglio has held various key positions within the company, including serving as the district director in Princeton, New Jersey and managing director at the Bucks County, Pennsylvania, network office. When the opportunity to transition into a managing partner position arose, DiMeglio was drawn to putting down roots in the Midwest. Since accepting the role, DiMeglio has started to explore what the city has to offer and is looking forward to the opportunities to serve the community and immerse himself in the local food, art and sports culture.
“What drew me to Milwaukee was the people, sense of community, Midwest kindness and of course, beautiful Lake Michigan views,” said DiMeglio. “As an Italian American, I’m looking forward to connecting with my fellow local Italian Americans. My family and I are also big sports fans, and we are excited to cheer on the Packers, Bucks and Brewers.”
The Milwaukee area offices currently have over 200 members in their firms, with more than 60 talented advisors and over 140 associates and interns. In addition, they are actively recruiting new talented members and prospective financial advisors. The offices specialize in serving the business owner market, high-net-worth individuals and young professionals. Under DiMeglio’s leadership, Northwestern Mutual is set to further strengthen its presence in Wisconsin, delivering financial security and expert guidance to clients across the region.
