Mt. Zion Baptist Church is 112 years old. Throughout these many years, Mt. Zion has served the Southside of Madison community faithfully with various community support programs. In 2020 during the pandemic, Mt. Zion Church committed to doing so much more work in the community. However, after seeing how great the needs were we realized we needed more support financially to “Lift Our Community.” Therefore, we created MTZ Charitable Organization Inc. which is a separate entity from the church in an attempt to pursue more funding opportunities to increase our impact on our community.
Madison, WI – November 30, 2023 – MTZ Charitable Organization Inc. is pleased to announce an exciting evening of inspiration and community engagement as we officially introduce our commitment to building hope and fostering positive change within the Madison community. It will also be the first opportunity to share with the public the plans for their new Family Life Center which is slated to open in the summer of 2025.
