MILWAUKEE — County Supervisor Peter Burgelis, along with 1st Vice Chair Sequanna Taylor and County Supervisors Felesia A. Martin, Shawn Rolland, and Priscilla E. Coggs-Jones, will hold a town hall meeting on Tuesday, July 18, to discuss the proposed 0.4% increase of Milwaukee County’s sales tax.
Recognizing the significance of the upcoming vote, the group expressed in a joint statement their commitment to community engagement:
“The proposed 0.4% sales tax increase is a crucial matter for Milwaukee County, and we highly value the input and perspectives of our constituents. This town hall meeting will serve as a vital platform for us to listen, discuss, and gather feedback.
