Independent Business Association of Wisconsin: Presents “Moving Wisconsin – The Future Transportation Grid of SE Wisconsin”

Milwaukee, Wis. – May 10, 2023 – The Independent Business Association of Wisconsin (IBAW) hosts “Moving Wisconsin – The Future Transportation Grid of SE Wisconsin” on Friday, May 19, 2023, 7:00 a.m. – 9:00 a.m. Event will be held at the Wisconsin Club, 900 W Wisconsin Avenue, Milwaukee, Wis. A plated breakfast is served.

Steve Kohlmann, executive director of IBAW, said, “This month, Bob Gutierrez, Director for the SE Region of the Wisconsin DOT will update us on where DOT projects stand and what technology breakthroughs will impact traffic movement for residents and businesses in the southeastern corridor.”

In the last decade, the State of Wisconsin has spent billions on the freeway infrastructure in southeastern Wisconsin, and they’re not done yet. While other major metropolitan areas suffer from gridlock and poor highway systems, Wisconsin traffic moves remarkably well.

What improvements has the Wisconsin DOT made that makes the difference? What new technology is being employed to move traffic quicker and safer? How will the east/west I-94 stadium project be finally solved, and, will toll roads be a future funding source?

Since 1973, the Independent Business Association of Wisconsin (IBAW) was formed for small business owners to engage in conversation relating to legislation impacting the bottom-line costs of businesses throughout Wisconsin. IBAW is a venue for high-level CEOs, CFOs, COOs, other upper management and entrepreneurs to network, exchange business ideas, and become educated
and involved on issues which impact their business. IBAW is time well spent!
