GREEN BAY, WISCONSIN – (December 1, 2023) – Festival Foods is once again joining hands with The Salvation Army Red Kettle Campaign to raise funds in support of The Salvation Army’s year-round missions. In 2022, shoppers visiting Festival Foods locations throughout Wisconsin generously donated just over $564,000 to the campaign.
“We are pleased to partner with The Salvation Army and in its efforts to support local programs,” said Mark Skogen, Festival Foods President and CEO. “Community giving with neighbors helping neighbors is one of our values.”
Festival Foods directs 100 percent of donations added to grocery totals at the checkout or placed in the Red Kettles to The Salvation Army. During last year’s holiday season, $49,799.70 was added to grocery totals at the checkout, and $514,249.45 was given to the Red Kettles.
To sustain a successful campaign, the community is encouraged to volunteer. Those interested in volunteering may sign up for shifts in 1-hour increments via The Salvation Army’s registration website. The Salvation Army extends a welcome to individuals, families, churches, service clubs, schools and businesses to consider volunteering for this year’s campaign.
