January 30, 2023 – Capstone National Partners (Capstone), a full-service government affairs firm with offices in Milwaukee, WI and Washington, DC, announced today that former Racine, Wis. Mayor John Dickert, has joined the Capstone Team. He will lead Capstone’s newly formed State and Local Advocacy Division, bringing his 35 years of policy experience and keen awareness of issues to Capstone clients in Wisconsin and
throughout the Great Lakes region.

Dickert most recently served in Governor Tony Evers’ Administration where he led the State and Local Finance Division of the Department of Revenue and was tapped to serve on the Wisconsin PFAS Action Council (WISPAC), tasked with developing statewide regulations to address growing public health and environmental concerns regarding certain PFAS substances. Prior, John was the President / CEO of the Great Lakes St. Lawrence Cities Initiative, an international group of mayors dedicated to the protection of the Great Lakes and the St. Lawrence Seaway.
Many know John as the three-term Mayor of Racine. His imprint is all over the city as he worked to revitalize Racine – with a successful track record of assisting in the creation of new businesses, reducing crime, and expanding existing companies.
