Wendland: To present at National Grocer’s Association Show

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – Waukesha, Wisconsin, February 16, 2022 – Dave Wendland, vice president strategic relations and member of the owner group at HRG, will be presenting at the National Grocer’s Association (NGA) Show, in Las Vegas, Nevada, on Sunday February 27, 1:35-2:35pm.

The session, “Start with the Consumer and Work Backwards,” will cover success factors for customer-centric retailers and brands, how a customer’s experience drives behavior, and the importance of data analytics and digital solutions. Wendland stated, “Retail has been evolving for years – and it accelerated over the past two years because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Putting a fresh spotlight on consumers has become essential for grocers to not only understand how consumer data should be analyzed, but also to reimagine the overall shopping experience and position the operation for future success.”

Wendland’s session is part of an all new education program for the NGA Show. His presentation is one of 14 educational meetings Sunday, titled, “The Shopping Experience of the Future: Evolving from Today to Tomorrow – Powered by the Consumer Heartbeat of Demand.” Wendland said, “HRG is well tuned in to the unique opportunities and challenges of independent retailers. I’m excited to share our insights with these agile, important retailers who have had to make incredible shifts in their infrastructure and daily operations in the last two years to continue serving their customers safely and protect the well-being of their staff.”
