Lakefront Brewery: Releases “My Turn Tyler” Grand Cru.

MILWAUKEE (January 13, 2022) – My Turn number 41, in a long line of employee-made beer, is a Belgian-style Grand Cru. Tyler Senz is a long-time Brewery employee and a favorite brewing tech. “The term Grand Cru indicates a more elaborate version of a brand,” said Senz. “It denotes a limited production of a special or higher quality beer. If I do say so myself.”

The My Turn Tyler, Grand Cru, tastes of dark brown sugar, dried cherry and dates from Belgian yeast joined together with a caramelly and toasty base. “Tyler and the brewers crafted something special,” said Lakefront Brewery Brand Manager, Michael Stodola. Usually, our My Turn series serves up something interesting, but Tyler takes that one step farther. It’s a special liquid.”

This medium-heavy, dark amber beer sports a 12% abv and 30 IBUs.

And there’s a release party! On January 29th, starting at noon, all are invited to the My Turn Tyler release party at Black Husky Brewing. Yes, that is correct, Lakefront Brewery friends, Black Husky Brewing, will be celebrating the latest Lakefront brew. “That sense of neighborhood and friendship starts with Russ and flows down to all his staff,” said Black Husky Brewing owner, Tim Eichinger. “That Tyler chose Black Husky as his place to release his beer and that Russ supported it, is a great honor.”

Another Riverwest company, Stubby’s Gastropub will be catering the event. And at 1pm, Tyler will be tapping a collaborative firkin that blends My Turn Tyler with Black Husky’s Belgian Golden Strong Ale. There’s a suggested donation, with proceeds going

to the River Revitalization Fund.

“I take great pride in seeing the creativity of every employee in their formulation of their My Turn, and Tyler’s done a great job with the Grand Cru,” says Lakefront President, Russ Klisch. “It will be great to be in the old neighborhood and partner with Black Husky to have Tyler’s release party, and great to start doing collaborative events again with our fellow craft breweries.”
